So my friend Karl wants to start running again, and his timing coincides with the start of a northeastern winter. I am a little concerned as winter running isn't much fun, but thinking back winter is when I started running. Also, my current running partner Matt also started running during the fall so maybe it will be OK.
Today I head out solo. One of many to come? Or will Karl, like Matt, totally surpass me?
First up for Karl and I, finding a time to go get new shoes. My New Balance have always been unforgiving, and they are taking a huge toll on my back and joints.
