Sistine Chapel

We went on a trip this summer to Italy.  I think about that trip a lot.  One of the best parts (amongst a huge number of best parts) was a private tour for our group of the Sistine Chapel.  I am not sure how long we were in there, but 30-45 minutes seems reasonable.  Usually they prohibit pictures, but they let us take pictures.  It was beautiful, and with the small group in there (~40 people) you could really get a sense of the space.

The picture at the right is one I took with the "Pano" feature on my iPhone.  I like the juxtaposition:  a centuries-old masterwork of art captured (in pretty amazing and vivid detail) with current technology.
